This Privacy Policy explains how Riyo Jobs (“Riyo Jobs”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use our website riyojobs.com and the Riyo Jobs mobile app (together, the “Service”). Riyo Jobs is based in Hargeisa, Somaliland.

1. Summary

• You do not need an account to use Riyo Jobs. We do not offer registration or login for visitors.
• We only collect personal information you choose to send us, for example through our contact form or by email.
• We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
• When you apply for a job or tender, you apply directly to the employer or organisation. Riyo Jobs does not receive your application.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, any phone number you include, and your message. Employers and organisations who ask us to advertise also send us their advert details and contact information.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting server records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and the date and time of the visit. This is used to keep the Service secure and working.

Cookies and app storage. We use only essential cookies and browser storage needed for the Service to work, such as remembering settings and storing pages so the app loads faster and can show a message when you are offline. We also use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to count visits and show us, in summary form, which pages are visited, the country and city visitors come from, and the type of device used. We do not use advertising cookies.

What we do not collect. The Riyo Jobs app does not access your contacts, camera, microphone, photos, files or precise location.

3. How we use information

• To reply to your messages and requests.
• To publish job adverts, tenders and other opportunities that organisations ask us to advertise.
• To run, secure and improve the Service.
• To meet legal obligations.

4. Applying for jobs and tenders

Each listing shows how to apply, such as an employer’s email address or website link. When you apply, you send your CV and other details directly to that employer or organisation, and their own privacy policy applies. Riyo Jobs is not responsible for how employers handle your application. Please check that an advert is genuine and never pay anyone to get a job.

5. Third-party services and sharing

Some parts of the Service rely on other companies, which may receive technical information such as your IP address when a page loads:

• Google Analytics and Google Search Console – visitor statistics and how the site appears in Google Search.
• Namecheap – website hosting.
• Google Fonts and Google Maps – website fonts and the map on our Contact page.
• Facebook and LinkedIn – only if you click our social media links.

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with the service providers listed in this section so they can run the Service for us, or when required by law.

6. How long we keep information

We keep messages for as long as needed to respond and for our normal business records, then delete them. Server logs are kept for a limited time by our hosting provider.

7. Security

The Service uses HTTPS encryption, and we take reasonable steps to protect information. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure.

8. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete personal information you have sent us. Email info@riyojobs.com and we will reply as soon as we can. You can also clear cookies and app data in your browser or phone settings, or uninstall the app at any time. You can block Analytics cookies in your browser settings or with Google’s opt-out add-on.

9. Children

The Service is intended for job seekers, employers and organisations. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with its effective date.
